View Full Version : upgrade product key will not work

I just upgraded from LE to SE. The new product key does not work. I put it in the product key form in the license activation box from the Help menu, but all I get is a box saying the key is invalid. I DO have the number correct, I've checked it several times. ... and yes, I am connected to the internet while trying to activate the key. Help, I can't find anywhere else to seek help.

Only thing I can think to try Steve is to cut and paste (if you haven't already) the number from the email. If you copy the Product Keyfrom the email you can then paste it into the left-most Product Key field in the activation window. That would make sure any type or case issues in entering the code have been avoided.
If that doesn't work, I'm sure Michael will be able to resolve for you

many people are confused (rightfully so) by the activation code that is mailed to them AFTER proper activation is complete. We have now changed the wording on that mail so that the confusion should be gone.
If the title bar in C1 does not say TRIAL you are activated. Also it is crucial to use the PRODUCT key and not the activation key.
It is are where the problem is not user error, but it can happen. Please try again and let me know. If you still have a problem email to me with the product key.
