I seem to have found a bug in the file filter selector.
I have several folders of pictures from my old Canon Pro70 camera and it used to make the thumb nails with a file name like:
THM_1569.jpg and the actual full rez file would be called AUT_1569.jpg.
When I tell the file filter to exclude THM*.jpg or THM_*.jpg,THM_????.jpg or what ever combination it still includes the thumb nail images.
Actually if you could get the html files to exclude them and not the files written to disk that would be good too.

I find too when I have a folder that has been processed by Breezebrowser with my D60 that the .txt files that breesebrowser generates are always in the html file, it would be nice to be able to exclude different types of files from the html file but still have them written to the disk.

Thanks

First of all...stop using BB...just kidding...;>)

I will look into the filter bug and see if we can reproduce it here. Sounds like you are using it properly.
BTW...it should be filtered out of the tree as well, so that would be good for me to know...if the exclude files are still showing up in the tree as well as the Archive. Thanks..

We have already incorporated a separate filter for the Index as opposed to the Archive and are testing it now, so this will appear in the V1.0 version.

Thanks for the feedback and I will get back to you regarding the filter.

Thanks for the reply

Opps knew I should'nt of mentioned BB here : )

Yes the excluded files are showing up in the tree as well.
If I tell the exclude filter to filter out something like *.crw or *.txt it works fine, it seems to not like having a partial file name then The * or ? filters after.

Yes, I meant to reply, but since you mentioned BB I thought that I would ban you from the forum ;>)

You are exactly right. We are using a Windows API call that apperently does not support the "??" and only the *.nnn type of specs. We will look into changing it so that we can offer the functionality that we promised. Thanks for finding this bug, and sorry for the problem.

We're working on it.

Thanks for getting back to me..

Actually Yarc plus looks good too just haven't had the time to fully check it out.

AC though is the program that has really being missing in the digital world, I'm suprised it has taken everyone this long to realise that it was need!!
I'm really happy that you have taken up the challenge.

Thanks again

And thank you.

We hope to expand the capabilities of AC as time goes on, but this comcept has been in my head for over 2 years. I am pleased that so many of you have found it useful.

Thanks..
