Michael,

I have downloaded the program and read some of the forum posts and so far, everything looks great. I do have some questions for you though.

First, you mentioned in an earlier post that this is a great way to distribute images to family and friends. I totally agree, but as a semi-professional photographer, I can tell you that this may also be a great way to distribute "PROOF" albums to customers.

I think the only thing you would have to do is to include a "module" or button that is for this specific purpose which will write a single CD and include in the HTML a "no right click" option as well as a "copyright" field to include in the images.

Some other features to consider would be:
1. Password protection
2. No right mouse click
3. No print screen printing
4. A time-out feature
5. The ability to have dual sizes (thumbnail, med sized, full sized)

I realize that NONE of these options will totally protect images (I don't want to get into that discussion), but it could act as a deterrent.

As for the archiving capabilities of the program...excellent idea. I can see this helping me get my stuff off the computer...finally.

I am very interested in purchasing the program and wonder how much you incorporate user feedback in the developement of your programs.

Thanks again...looks VERY promising.

I am gonna go ahead and purchase it. It appears even in the present state..the program is a must have...any other work on it will just be GRAVY.

Thanks Michael...payment is coming.

WallyMo,

Thanks for your kind comments and suggestions. We are totally into listening to our user base, and we have already incorporated some of the ideas that have come up this week. For example, inregards to distributing the PROOFS, in my current test version there is a check box that says 'Only Write the Index to the CD".

So we are on our way to getting your feedback into the program even BEFORE you asked for it. We alsp plan to add the watermarking of the images which is probably the best protection. In the end there is really no way for us to protect the images except to render them unusable except for proofs. We the files are on the CD and we need the ability to be able to read the files from any machine with just IE.

having said that we can make a special PROOFs mode, not designed for Archive and comaptability which will meet your needs.

So keep the ideas coming and we will keep moving forward.

Thanks for your feedback and suggestions...very much appreciated..

It is great to know you are way ahead of the game and actually planning features for several versions to come. Thanks and I hope to give it a good workout over the coming months.

Thanks,

Wally
