Are the WhiBal cards optimized for C1 over Photoshop CS?

No. The WhiBal is optimzed for neutrality (the gray cards). it will work just as well in C1 ad ACR in terms of WB. The object of any "gray card" for WB use is as close to perfect neutrality as possible, which the WhiBal has achieved as well or better than anything else on the market.

The light gray is optimized for RAW converters like C1 and ACR, while the dark gray is better for JPEG usage.
