I have only started using Archive Creator, but it really is the perfect solution to my digital photography problem. I have, however, found a minor bug I did not see listed anywhere.
The AUTORUN.INI refers to an icon, ArchiveCreator.ico. However, no such icon is burned to the CD. As a result, when using Windows Explorer, a generic icon for file type unrecognized is displayed.
I would also like to second some other suggestions that the user have more control over the CD volume label.
I would also like to second others who want control over the link in the main gallery window, usually titled something like "Source_D". Once I burn to CD, I remove files off the hard drive so this does not provide any valuable information. However, I understand your desire to have this info. Perhaps The link could be user/folder defined, but some sort of comment field could list the original source (if necessary)?
I do have one question which is not specific to ArchiveCreator. Often, when I insert an autorun CD which launches a web browser (Internet Explorer), I often get an error message or a browser window opens, but no page is loaded. I cannot determine the source of the error. I am using Internet Explorer v6 with all the latest updates/patches.
TIA,
Austin
