Update 1 Jan
We believe that we have a workaround for this issue. Although Intel has not yet solved it, we believe that we will release a version of AC, very soon, that works around their problem. Please watch for an annoucement, or send us an email if you wish to be notified. We expect that the V1.2 of AC (a free upgrade) will have the fix incorporated in it.
There are known issues with Intel Motherboards and/or Intel IDE Chipsets. It is reported that they have a lot of compatability issues with software that uses low level CD burning support like Archive Creator.
This link is from Intel and provides some solutions for these issues..

The above link and procedures should be done at your own risk. Always backup your drive before installing major drivers.
Note that Intel MBs and/or Chipsets are used in Dell and other major brand computers.
You can check the chipset and MB that you have using the Belrac free software from here. It will look through your system and issue a complete report including these details.

If you have a problem and solve it, please let us know so that we can post specific cures for the Intel based issues.
Thanks and sorry for the issue.
