I placed my order for WhiBal a few days ago and got it today -- fast! What can I say? I'm impressed. It's just so convenient and thoughtfully designed. It really takes a lot of the guesswork out of setting WB and gives me a consistent starting point. For indoor tungsten illumination I will typically bias the color temperature towards the warmer tones, but that is my aesthetic preference. (When I stare at the screen critically, I can see that the resulting "neutral" tones are in fact slightly warm. When balanced using the WhiBal, though, the results are very neutral.) Thanks Michael!

One question: why are there two gray cards included? Which is the one that reflects roughly 18%?

I have the same question, and I read them very often in this forums too. Also in dutch forums.

1. Why light and dark gray-card?
2. Which one use for RAW or JPG?
3. What are the differents.
