I've installed AC 1.1. I get an error when I run it:-

Error 372
Failed to load control 'imagebox2' from POLYIM~1.dll .....
line 271

I'm running XP Sp1.

Cheers,

Stuart Rider.

This is a problem that has come up in a few installations, and we are researching the cause and the fix.

I will post something as soon as we find out why this is occurring. it is only on a small number of systems, but enough to validate that it is in fact a real issue.

Stuart,

Didn't realize that you were the same person from our DPR discsussion...hi..sorry I can be resonable at times ;>)

About this bug. It is a hard one for us because we cannot reproduce in on our many test systems. We are still trying to create a system where we can get the same failure. A handful of people have reported it, so it is real, but it is such a small number compared to our user base that it must be tied to a specific procedure or system parameter.

Can you tell me if this was a virgin install of AC, or had you run the pre-release version, or any beta versions before you installed the V1.1. version. Also if you had a previous version, did you uninstall first or install on top.

We are trying to find a common thread. it is interesting that this did not show up in our extensive beta testing, so it leads me to guess that it may only occur in systems that are upgrading from pre-release V1.0 directly to V1.1, as opposed to our beta testers who had many interim versions.

Thanks for your help..

No, it's a fresh install, I've never installed any other version. I do have yarcplus 2.1 beta 2 installed, but not registered.

If you have any other queries, feel free to email. As I mentioned on Dpreview, I'm an experienced developer so I can answer pretty techie stuff if that helps.

Curiously, it installs fine on another XP machine I have.

No surprise.

It works on 99% of the systems out there.

Thanks for the info...
