I tried the v1.1 and everything installed and started up okay. Installed SDK 5.0 for Canon support into the AC directory. I tried some 1D RAW images, everything was fine until I selected a thumbnail and the displayed image was small even though I had set a much larger view size in the set-up.
Why can't I get larger images ?

this is because the 1D canon files only have an embedded JPEG of small size in them (288x192). That is the image that we are using in the index. To get a larger image would require is to actuall convert the image which would take much too long.
What we will be experimenting with is the ability to upsample the smaller image to match your veiwing image specs. We have to evaluate the time involved as well as the qualitu it produces. I suspect that we will be able to offer this feature in a future release.
If you shoot JPEG+RAW, then you can filter the TIF files from the inded and use the JPEGs to generate the index files, but realize that the FILE button will point to ther JPEG not the TIF (RAW).
I hope that this explains it. I meant to put this in the help file and Iwill add it soon.
Thanks...

For 1D/1Ds is there any reason to install SDK (to the AC folder)?
I find processing of 1Ds tiffs goes MUCH faster without it installed. With it installed, it pauses on each raw file, and then does nothing with it anyway.
Actually, I would prefer a checkbox to allow processing the raw files to generate the images. There are times I would like them, and letting it process overnight is no big deal to me, to get the images.
I had been using BreezeBrowser to create the HTML indexes, and it really is not to long on the machine I'm using.

If the 1D/1Ds goes OK without the SDK then there is no reason for it. The embedded thumb in the RAW TIF looks the same as a normal image in any TIF so it should be OK. The only issue might be rotated RAW files, which won;t be reflected unless the SDK is installed.
Regarding the conversion of the RAW files, there are no plans to allow AC to actually do RAW conversions.
