Good Day All;

After creating an archive and inserting the cd into the drive, whenever I click on the "file" button below the thumbnail, to get the "save as window", Archive Creator tries to start up Apples Quick Time viewer. What I am attempting to do is extract the file from the cd and put it onto my hard drive. The photo never loads, all that happens is that the Apple Quick Time logo comes up and asks me if I want to download an update. I click no as I don't want Apple Quick Time loading at all. Is there a way to get my Photoshop 7.0 to start. All other programs I have use Photshop 7.0.

Any information you may give me will greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Mike

Once the CD is created, and you insert into the drive, things are under the control of the Browsers, I assume Internet Explorer in this case. When you click on the file button, IE checkes to see if the file is a known type and will open it in the browser if it can, or it will give you the download dialog, or it will launch an application based on the file associations set up in Windows.

So some workarounds...

--Get rid of Quicktime ;>)
--Use the right-click "Save Target As..." to get to the download dialog
--Use the Folder button and then you have the real copy of the source file sitting infront of you to deal with like it exists in the file system.

I hope that this is helpful..
