Some Suggestions

Hi Michael

I like your Archive Creator really very much!

During the usage of AC I found some things, that could be optimized. Here my suggestions:

FOLDER SIZE IN SETUP SELECT TREE:
Sometimes it would be useful, if not only the file sizes, but also the size of the folders in the setup tree would be displayed. If it takes to long to calculate all folder sizes, it could be an option (right click or so) to calculate the size of some specific folders.


VERIFY WITH ANOTHER DRIVE:
It would be nice, if the normal write/verify prozess would support another verify drive as only the CD burner. I like it more, if a second drive tells me, that the verify is ok.
So it would be very helpful, if after burning a CD, it would be possible to select the drive letter of another CD/DVD drive.


RESELECT DATE:
Always if you go back to the Setup view, the date is set back to the current date.
If the user has changed the date, the program should not override the date in it's own right.

File size in the tree--you are eaxactly right, we do not do it bacuse ot the time that it would take (if someone put a check next to drvie C the entire drive would have to be searched), but we also have also thought to add this as an option as you have suggested. perhaps a simple manual "Show Checked Size" button.

Verify with another drive...You can do this now. Just go to the verify page and select the drive that you want. Or put the CD in the alternate drive first and it will automatically select it. Your reason (to do it from another drive) is one of the main purposes of the verify page.

Date - I will look into this..I think other complained that it was persistant and wanted it to be the current datem so maybe it will have to be an option.
