Every time I try to burn a cd I get an access violation error at the very begining of the burning process (the cd remains writable). I run Archive creator on Windows XP Pro with an TDK ATA CD writer. I upgraded the firmware of my CD writer but it didn't help.
Have you any idea to make it work.

thanks

Sorry that you are having this problem. An access violation usually means that there is something within your system that is not compatable with AC. We need to try to find out.

First make sure that there are no background tasks running such as Screen Savers, other CD writing utilitites (Like Direct CD), and even disable the XP CD Writing option.

For us to understand when this is happening, can you please send me a screen shot of the error message and move it so that we can see as much of the AC screen as possible as well.

Also we will send you some debugging instructions that will help.

Please email the screen shot to:

ACSupport@pictureflow.com

Thanks for your help and patience.
