Verify Process Fails

Hello Michael,

I have been using Archive Creator for a while without problems and it works very well for archiving photos. Today I tried to use it to archive normal data files and ran in to a problem. The verify process fails with the error listed below:

You then get an option to Abort, Retry or Ignore

If you do an Ignore the verify will continue till it completes or you get another error.

The files that cause the error have a length of 0 bytes, while this is somewhat unusual, it does come up from time to time.

Michael, please let me know if you need more information or anything else I can do to help.

Truly a great program to use and I can’t wait for the DVD version to be released.

Bob,

It is probably an error on our side. I do not think that we consdered the case of 0 length files.

We will check it out and and fix it in the next release. We have had a successful Alpha test of the DVD version. We are preparing the beta version and will try to incorporate this fix.
