I thinks it's been a week since the next week message - eta?

And the real question - a Sony DRU-500 series - have you tested on these, want to buy one, but need confirmation of support - for both - and + DVD's

It would appear that this coming week is THE week. We added some features and were delayed by one of our third party library vendors.

Regarding the Sony drive, bith peter (my parnter) and I both use this Sony drive (he on Firewore and me ion IDE), and it works great.

There is still no 100% guarentee that all aspects of your particular system will be compatable, but the chances are very high. Or to put it another way, AC is perfectly comaptable with the Sony drive, but in any given system, there could be other issues.

We have tested extensively on -R, -RW, +R, +RW, CD-R, CD-RW all on this drive.

We are issuing what we believe to be our final private Alpha test version today, and plan to release a public beta version later this coming week.

When you get the Sony drive, make sure that you check the firmware to make sure that it is the current version (I believe "g" at this time). I am currently running "f", but my drive came with "c" installed.
