I wonder what happened to these videos? The web page can be accessed, but the videos seem to be missing.

I hope its not a result of Adobe's presure? You can derive my opinion about their dealing with RawShooter in Pixmantec forums, I will refrain here from repeating arguments. However, my wife loves RawShooter as well, and she is lost in Lightroom. She would like to review the videos again...

Adobe had nothing to do with pulling the videos. It was my decision. Since Premium is no longer available and Essentials will be gone when LR is released, it was too confusing for people who viewed the videos and could not purchase. What was worse is that they would purchase the Color Engine thinking that RS was included. That combined with the cost of the bandwidth involved with each viewing (paid by me), suggested that it was in the best interests of the greater good to pull them. Sorry...And thanks for the kind words.

Happy Holidays...

mike, i'm new to the forum but after following many links and suggestions, i was given your name. i purchased raw shooter premium about a year or so ago. i still have the key, two in fact, the one in my account and the one that was given to me at the time of purchase.

is there any way you can help me get a copy downloaded of the raw shooter that i purchased. my computer crashed and all was lost. i downloaded the adobe version from the site, but there are important aspect missing such as the straighten tool as well as ability to crop. the color saturation wheel at the bottom is also gone. i would really just like the old version, but i can't seem to find it for download.

can you point me in the right direction?

thanks for any assistance you can give. ron

That should do it.

The version without the crop, etc. is free and called RS essentials, and the paid for version of called RS premium. Enjoy.

Thanks Leif..

Happy hollidays to you too.

I guess we have to respect this decision, however I regret it, the more that you were the webmaster of the Pixmantec forums. In the context of questionable tactics by Adobe, maybe you could post a message why the videos are gone. We still do not have a product for raw conversion with newer cameras, that's what it is. I will never give up to exercise a presure on Adobe to resume releases of RawShooter.

By the by: No one else pulls the reviews of RawShooter. RawShooter tests and reviews at Outback, Fotoespresso and several more are still out there.
This is a nice compare table of them all:

I have to look forward. I do not know what RC will be mine of choice. I am of course looking towards PS CS3 and Lightroom, but perhaps a dark horse will enter the race. One never knows...

Happy new year..
