I have been using v1.1.1 with a Yamaha F1ZDX with fine results. I uninstalled AC1.1.1 and rebooted my Win2KSP2 box. I then installed v2b. Everything seemed fine. I went into setup and defined a set of files to be burned. The indexes were constructed fine. When I went to burn, that's when everything went to hell. The cache proceedure would not stop and DirectCD took over the burned. After 20 minutes of this, I rebooted, and removed AC2b.
I was lucky no damage was done to the file structure.
This was followed by reinstalling ACv1.1.1.
I'll hold off on version 2b.

Dave,
Thanks for your report..
Regarding the conflict with Direct CD, this is something that will vary from system to system. On most systems they are not compatable because as soon as DirectCD "sees" the CD it formats it and takes over. Some people do not have this issue, and I suspect that it has to do with the manner in which Direct CD has been installed.
As to why it would work with V1.1.1 and not V2.0 I can not say for sure. DirectCD takes control of a lot of things regarding the drives and sensing media, and it is not within our control to disbale it in a manner that we feel is proper.
I suggest that you diable DirectCD and get AC working and then bring DirectCD back into the situation, as one possible scenario.
Regarding your comment about damage to the files structure... AC does nothing to the file structure on the drive. I am curious as to your concern.
Thanks for your feedback and we hope to resolve your issues.
