Since upgrading to V20beta2a, I have not been able to startup the AC. AC will stop at the logo screen (screen showing the registration). I de-install and re-install V1.1.1 and everything is fine. When I uninstall the beta2a, I also got an error message saying cannot find xerces-C1_1_7.0.dll even though the file is in the AC directory.

Please try beta 3. We made some changes in the startup code.
The errors during uninstall are known and cause no problems..

I too am getting a hang at the splash screen with AC2B# that I wasn't getting with 1/2.
WinXP, P4-2.0, 512MB.
Any suggestions?

Correction on previous message: Should be AC2B3.

Make sure that all CD drives are empty. We have seen cases where a improperly burned CD (ie an error occured during burn) causes the app to wait about 1.5 min, tring to get the OS to validate the drive.
If not, delete all the .xml files in your AC application folder. See if that helps.

The drives are empty, I deleted the (4) .XML files, I waited 2+ minutes at the opening splash screen, and the program still doesn't open.
I tried it a number of times earlier. Occasionally the program will start, but most of the time it will not.
Again, this only started happening with the Beta 3 release.
