Looking at the Photoshop Lightroom User Guide (v1.0 Page 64) you'll see "When working with JPEG, TIFF, and PSD files, you work in a scale of -100 to 100 rather than the Kelvin scale.
[User guide available from: http://livedocs.adobe.com/en_US/Lightroom/1.0/help.pdf (7.02Mb download) or on your LR install disk]
So, click on a RAW file and you'll see the Kelvin scale. Click on the above file types and you see the numbers +/- 100.
Any help?

Thanks LanChop, I have been testing for over 4 weeks with the new mk3, as I recover from major surgery, as I could only shoot from inside the house I had only shot Jpegs. On Saturday I shot my first wedding since the operation, and as normal shot raw files on the mk3, and when I brought them into Lightroom all was well, I must have missed your answer when I read the user guide.
Many thanks again,
Mike
