Hi Michael,
I have now thanks to you set up my print profiles and I am now getting some fine print.
I have also purchased a Whibal card and use it all the time now. A friend saw me use it and he’s got one
now and I know when our photo club starts up for next season there will be more orders coming your way.
I am having some problems though with photos created on my computer in light room not being able to be seen properly on other peoples monitors.
I took a set of photos using studio lights of a young boy for a portfolio to be sent to a modelling agency.
After importing the RAW photos into light room making some fine adjustments I them exported them to another folder as jpegs then burnt them onto a CD. The photo looked absolutely fine on my monitor the whites were not burnt out and there was still detail in the dark areas of the photos, Yet when the agency received the disc they said all the photos were to dark and they couldn’t use them. I then took another disc of the same photos to a friend and when looking at them on his monitor they were indeed very dark but then when I viewed them on yet another monitor they were not to bad.
How can I produce a disc that everyone can see as I do.
My monitor has been calibrated with a pro spyder and I have had a profile made for my printer and paper combination so I know that what I see on my screen is what I get so I don’t think its anything to do with my set up.
Any help would be appreciated.
All the best Kev.
