Read-Only Image Files

When I save an image file back to the hard disc from an AC archive, the file saves in a read-only form.

Why is this so, and is there a work-around to prevent this?

This is normal behavior. When you copy a file from a CD type media, it is copied to the HD with the Read-Only attribute set.

OK, thanks for the clarification. It would be nice if AC had an override on this.
