Because Murphy was an optimist i like to burn all my images to 2 CD's before erase them from my harddisk. Because of the caching this take's a lot of time going to the burn procedure twice.

I think it should be possible to burn disk 1 twice, then disk 2 twice etc. Hereby the caching needs to be done once (im doing it over a Lan which makes it a timeconsuming action, mayby).

Mayby you could consider it in the next version of Archive Creator

Thanks...

Yes, this is on our list of feature requests.

Thanks so much for your feedback.

Michael I want to chime in on this feature request. Is it already in v2.0 perhaps?

No, it is not in V2.0.

OK thanks. This is a feature I would very much like to have. I'm not sure whether I would want it to burn a second copy of each disc as it goes along, or finish the first set and then ask if you'd like to burn a second redundant set. Probably the latter, but either way would be good.

Thanks,

The latter means too many VERY large files to keep around. So when and if we do this, it will have to be the former.

Thanks for the feedback..

That makes sense and should work fine. Doing it that way should also make it a fairly trivial feature to add, no?

Thanks.

It is not technically hard, but there are always side effects and ancillary issues that pop up when you do such things.

OK. Thanks for putting my request in line for consideration.
