I have been using AC to Archive photos of a wedding I just shot and have been very successful up until this point. Now when I try to view the HTM index I receive the following error message upon the start of IE. I have un-installed and re-installed AC several times without any luck.

When you access the Index from the CD, does it work?

Also, where do you have the temp index (in preferences) set to?

I can access the index file from the original cd, however, I have not even tried to burn a new cd since I can not preview the layout. I can do that and test it if you like. Your are referencing the index.htm file correct?

The temp folder is set to the program default c:\program files\ArchiveCreator and the Master Index Folder is set to the progran default c:\program files\ArchiveCreator\ACMasterIndex

Derek, this is very strange behavior. Please try the following in the order shown...

1-please email all the .xml files in your Archive Creator folder (usually in the program files folder) to me ( ac@fsdi.biz)

2-Go to the burn page and try the preview button there

3-Go to the Temp Index folder and find the index.html file there and double click on it...this will verify that the index is correct and there is some other system problem causing this.

4-move the temp folder and re generate the index and try again.

Let me know what you find.
